Warranty The 20-Year, 130 MPH Hi-Perf Wind & Ventilation Warranty is available on all Metal-Era manufactured Hi-Perf ventilation systems. It guarantees that Hi-Perf systems will:
  • Provide proper ventilation for the project when designed according to the Metal-Era calculated NFA
  • Withstand winds of up to 130 MPH
  • Be free of defects in Metal-Era supplied materials
The warranty covers repair or replacement of the system for 20 years or the lifetime of the roof on which it was originally installed, whichever comes first.
Airflow Guarantees required intake airflow at the eave to help prevent heat buildup and moisture accumulation under the roof covering, thereby increasing the life of the roof. It is perfect for roof deck systems in designs with or without soffits and is engineered to work with attic vented roof systems.
Also Included All splice plates are included and will arrive to the job site with the product.
Available Materials Its unique design allows for covers to be manufactured in 24 ga and 22 ga steel, .040", .050" and .063" aluminum. Alternative materials, such as cedar exterior laminates can be used in lieu of metal. This provides for maximum flexibility ensuring the product is a perfect aesthetic fit.
Colors Choose among a wide range of standard colors and finishes that meet your job requirements. A 30-Year Kynar 500® Finish Warranty is included on coil-coated standard colors. Custom post-coated Kynar 500® colors are available with an included 10-Year Kynar 500® Finish Warranty or a 20-Year Kynar 500® Finish Warranty is available upon request.

Anodized finishes are also available and come with a 5-year warranty (no warranty available for coil anodized finishing; Post-coat/Class 1 Batch Anodized is available with a 5-year warranty with an option to increase to a 10-year warranty for an upcharge). It can also be premanufactured with a galvanized, non-painted cover, providing one piece field installation to serve as a base for field application of stucco, EIFS, etc.
Concealed Splice Plates Concealed splice plates provide a cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Custom Capabilities Specially fabricated products are available to meet the unique needs of each project.
Efficient Design Engineered to individual job requirements; this ensures that it will perfectly fit each roof condition. The need for wood blocking and vented soffits is eliminated, thereby reducing costly and dangerous field labor. It also reduces the number of trades involved, thus consolidating responsibility.

Metal construction eliminates wavy, untrue fascia board and is provided in 12'-0" lengths with pre-punched holes for quicker installation and lower labor costs. The fastening holes are slotted to allow for proper thermal movement of the materials and ensure correct fastener placement and spacing.
