New Metal-Era President

Tony Mallinger has been promoted to Metal-Era President, effective immediately. Since 2001, Tony served as Metal-Era’s Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Sales.

Throughout his tenure at Metal-Era Tony has provided strategic direction to the company, focusing on providing the construction industry with the speed, protection, expertise and quality it needs from a manufacturer.

In his new role, Tony will oversee all of Metal-Era’s business segments. He will provide leadership and direction to the company through strategic planning, new product development, effective operational and financial performance, customer and employee satisfaction and market growth.

“Tony is a great benefit to Metal-Era and its customers,” says Gene Mallinger, Chief Executive Officer. “He tirelessly looks for ways to take the company to the next level and provide service to the industry. I look forward to seeing Tony in this new role and providing continued leadership to the company.”

Tony is a frequently requested speaker at seminars for the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI). His most recent presentations include “Understanding ANSI/SPRI ES-1” and “Principles of Commercial Roof Ventilation.” He is also a member of the Single Ply Roofing Industry (SPRI) and serves on SPRI’s education task force.
