Metal-Era Turns 30

Metal-Era was founded in 1980 as a small manufacturing plant in Waukesha, WI with only five employees. It has since grown to an ever-expanding manufacturing facility whose most recent addition was built in 2009. With dedicated employees and a large nationwide network of distributors and sales representatives, Metal-Era is currently the largest manufacturer of pre-manufactured roof edges and commercial roof ventilation solutions.

Starting with its flagship product, Anchor-Tite Fascia, Metal-Era has built a reputation for speed, protection, expertise and quality by building in performance with every job. Over the years Metal-Era has built partnerships with the leading membrane manufacturers to offer full system warranties that include both the membrane and the roof edge.

In 2006 Metal-Era introduced its patented line of commercial roof ventilation solutions. Hi-Perf Vented Fascia and Hi-Perf Ridge Vent provided a standardized method for ensuring that the roof system had the correct amount of Net Free Area (NFA). They also released the industry’s first Wind and Ventilation Warranty.
